Simple and easy tofu recipe that you will love, it's also also great to grill them !
Ingredients:
- 1 lb firm tofu
- 1/4 c each flour, corn flour
- 1/2 c fresh celery leaves (chopped) (or kintsay)
- 1 tsp each paprika, coriander, cumin
- 1/2 tsp chopped carrots
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (ground)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soysauce
- Optional: asefetida (hing)
- 1 tbsp chopped onion
Directions:
- Heat a non-stick frying pan on medium with olive oil, or your favorite cooking oil.
- Add a pinch of asefetida (hing) or chooped onion to the oil for extra flavor.
- Chopped or mashed tofu.
- Throw in everything else and mix well by hand, or on low in the food processor just until it all clumps up.
- Form into eight 3 - 4 inch patties
- Fry in small amount of oil, on medium heat, 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Serve with bread or with rice.Enjoy!!
